Tomiwa Kukoyi
Founder & Senior AI Engineer
Tomiwa is a Senior AI Engineer and Full-Stack Developer with over four years of hands-on experience building intelligent systems and production web applications. He currently leads AI implementation initiatives at NITDA (Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency), while simultaneously building products at Finesser, a fintech platform.
He is the solo founder of ScopeGard, an AI SaaS product built independently using Google Gemini 2.0 Flash, Next.js 15, Supabase, and TailwindCSS. He has contributed to research on AI governance, anti-terrorism applications of AI, and cardiovascular risk assessment, with a conference paper submitted to ICEGOV 2026 proposing the AI Readiness Governance Index (ARGI) for public sector digital governance.
Beyond engineering, Tomiwa is the founder of BLDLYN, a streetwear brand with a custom-built Shopify store. He publishes on LinkedIn on applied AI topics and pursues freelance work across AI, full-stack, and Shopify development.
